This lens is big and heavy for a short focal length zoom lens. It weights twice as much as the Canon EF 28-105
USM lens. However, the sharpness, bokeh and the color is much better. If you prefer performance
over the weight, it is well worth the money in the used market. It is like having 4 lens in one.
