This is another underrated lens. Sure the Canon EF 300mm 2.8 L is great but not the price.
Paying over $3000 for this lens just too much for shooting around.
I was looking at the Nikon 300mm ED 2.8, Tokina and Tamron and I settled for Tamron for its size
and weight over the Nikon. Tokina has awful color so that was not an option. The Nikon optics has been consistantly
good but extra lb plus size plus 20% more cost in used market is just too much for me.
I want something that I'm able to handheld so the Tamron is the best choice.
